IEEE MEA SB conducted an interactive session on ‘Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in COVID-19 world’ on behalf of International Women's day. The session was held on 09th March 2021 at 8.00pm to 9.00pm. It was a 45 minutes of talk and 15 minutes of interactive question and answer session towards the end. Webinar was resourced by Ms. Rhythm Malhotra, Founder and Senior Consultant, The Skillette School.
A Project Competition "Develop me" was conducted for the students of IEEE MEA SB on 24th February 2021 under MILEN 5.0 on proposing to develop creative thinking and innovative ideas in students and also to provide a platform to express their ideas.
A Digital Marketing Campaign "Brand Me" was conducted for the students of IEEE MEA SB on 15th February 2021 under MILEN 5.0 which was proposed to develop and enhance the marketing skills of the students.
A User Test Competition was held for the students of IEEE MEA SB under the name "Check me out" on 11th February 2021 under MILEN 5.0 aiming to develop the technical skills,technical knowledge and technical erganomic thinking of the students.
A Debate Competition was conducted for the students of IEEE MEA SB under the name "My opinion is..." on 7th February 2021 under MILEN 5.0 with the intention of developing an eloquent speaking skill while expressing their thoughts and views.
A Presentation competition was conducted for the students of IEEE MEA SB under the name "Is My Screen Visible?" on 4th February 2021 under MILEN 5.0 with the motive of enhancing the technical skills and presentation skills of the students.
The JAM competition was conducted for the students in the SB under the name "Give me a minute" on 30th January 2021. The programme was scheduled on the lockdown period and it was organised through an online platform under 'MILEN 5.0' .
IEEE MEA SB held the 5th edition of MILEN, ‘MILEN 5.0’ for the freshers of 2021. It was conducted as different stages through several challenging tasks for young and fresh minds to ponder their talents and to showcase their technical and non- technical knowledge at an application level. The competitions were held online through Google Meet from 30th January to 24th February 2021, followed by an offline meet up and award distribution on 28th March.
A virtual treasure hunt competition named ‘DECRYPTO’ was organized by IEEE CS MEA SBC. This competition was organized as a pre-event for the AKCSSC 2020. AKCSSC is an annual flagship convention of IEEE Computer Society Kerala Chapter. The competition was open for both IEEE & Non IEEE members.
The 'Young Talent's Meet 2.0' organized by IEEE MEA SB on 27th October at 7 pm for the students of GBHSS Manjeri to enrich their skills in modern technologies and engineering world.
