IEEE-Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology
IEEE SIGHT Group of IEEE MEA Student Bramch is a network of IEEE volunteers partnering with under-served communities & local organisations surrounded around the Institution to leverage technology for sustainable development. It is structured as a sub-committee of the HAC. This group encourages its members to form groups in order to effectively develop sustainable solutions that make a long term difference in the lives of people around them. SIGHT groups members who come together to learn about sustainable development, build relationships within their local communities, and implement SIGHT group projects that utilize technology to tackle key problems within the community. Non-IEEE members are welcome and encouraged to join our local SIGHT group.
